At the core of this infusion is methyl salicylate, derived from pure wintergreen oil. In sports medicine, this active compound is valued for its ability to penetrate deep into the tissue. Eucalyptus and mint settle on the skin like glacier wind. Breathe in deeply. Let go.

• The mechanism: The high concentration of menthol and eucalyptus triggers a "phantom cold" by activating the body's cold receptors (TRPM8). Combined with the physical heat of the sauna, this creates a vascular contrast effect – similar to a Kneipp cure. This rapid alternation of constriction and dilation of the blood vessels helps flush metabolic waste such as lactate out of tired muscles.
